Big Chat in a Small World
The MCP SBS Chat is the longest running monthly live web chat on the planet, thanks to dedicated attendance by our regulars and many years hosting and support by MCPMag.com known also in print now for Redmond Magazine. As we debut with a trial run from our new home, we celebrate that having actually outlasted and outgrown the old chat resources at MCPMag.com, we launch here with dramatically expanded chat features and more seats available.
Our new home for MCP SBS Chat is sponsored now by SBSmigration.com, hosting us with substantially expanded chat capacity, plus delivering all the really cool new features that have been popularly requested. It’s time we find out just how many people have been knocking every month but they couldn’t get in!
As a bonus, you can expect (the man behind the curtain at SBSmigration.com) SBS-MVP Jeff Middleton will now be sitting in with us most every month because he can’t say he didn’t remember the SBS Chat is every 3rd Wednesday each month.
MCPMag.com - Still home to the SBS Forum with HandyAndy!
HandyAndy reminds you to look for him as usual to be monitoring discussion at the MCP SBS Forum that will remain at MCPMag.com. Don’t be confused! The SBS Chat is live discussion here for an hour or more once a month on the 3rd Wednesday. Can’t wait that long? You can post anytime, any day to the SBS Forum on MCPmag.com where HandyAndy and the gang are still hanging about there, keeping an eye out for ya! Only the monthly SBS Chat is relocating. With any luck, the growth of the live chat will bring even more awareness to the MCPMag.com SBS Forum as a daily resource for SBS news, research and troubleshooting discussion.
More to come here!
What's new at the new home? Expect to find multiple discussion rooms available, whisper chat features, and options to isolate on your discussion thread. We’ve got a full range of new text and graphic formats for your discussion, and we will be posting chat script logs in case you miss the discussion one week.
Be sure to check back again soon for even more news and Chat options coming up. As part of the worldwide SBSmigration.com Sponsored IT Pro Community Outreach, these resources are just getting started. There are more monthly chats and more chat features to be introduced once we get through any debut operational issues to be addressed.
SBS Chat is a Community Resource
All of us working to keep SBS Chat going for years to come are very much behind the concept of a community approach to spread the word of issues, ideas and resolutions. SBS Chat will remain independent in discussions and operating from a private logon registry exclusively for the purpose of conducting our chats. To identify yourself in the discussion, you won’t need to provide more than your name and agree to the Chat Rules of appropriate discussion guidelines. Your visit won’t be leverage into any commercial marketing lists. As a separate option from the logon registry, you can ask HandyAndy to send you a reminder email for upcoming chats. It’s all about an open, professional discussion with many familiar folks in the industry offering ideas and debate. Join us!
